How Fast is Your Internet?
Our internet speed test checks how fast data travels from the web to your device (download speed) and from
your device to the web (upload speed). It also measures latency (ping), which is crucial for online gaming
and video calls.
Understanding the Results:
- Download Speed: How fast you can pull data from the server. Important for streaming
movies, loading webpages, and downloading files. Good speed is usually above 25 Mbps.
- Upload Speed: How fast you can send data to others. Important for video calls, sending
large emails, and gaming. Good speed is usually above 5 Mbps.
- Ping (Latency): The reaction time of your connection. Lower is better. Below 20ms is
excellent, while above 150ms may cause lag.
How to Get Accurate Results:
- Close other tabs and applications using the internet.
- Move closer to your Wi-Fi router or use a wired connection.
- Run the test multiple times to get an average reading.
